All Services Pre & Post-IEP Conference

Walk in prepared. Walk out with a plan.

One-on-one preparation before your IEP meeting and a thorough debrief afterward. We organize your concerns, plan your strategy, and make sure nothing important falls through the cracks.

Is this for you?

If any of this sounds familiar, this is the service.

Your IEP meeting is coming up and you're already losing sleep over it. You want to walk in feeling like you actually know what you're doing.

In past meetings you've nodded along to things you didn't fully understand and walked out wondering if you just agreed to something you didn't want.

You have a list of concerns swirling in your head and you need help organizing them into a clear, calm set of priorities for the meeting.

You just had a meeting and you're not sure what to do next. Was that a good plan? Did you miss something? You want a second opinion before you sign anything.

How it works

Three steps, no guesswork.

01

Reach out & share documents

Send the most recent IEP, evaluations, and any communication from the school you want me to see. Tell me what's going on and when the meeting is.

02

We meet (60 minutes)

Virtual meeting at a time that works for you. Pre-conference focuses on prep. Post-conference focuses on what to do next. Both are working sessions, not lectures.

03

You receive a written summary

After our session you get a written summary of everything we discussed — concerns, questions, strategy, and next steps. Bring it with you.

Common questions

Things parents often ask.

What's the difference between pre- and post-conference?

Pre-conference is a 60-minute working session before your IEP meeting to organize concerns, prepare questions, and plan your strategy. Post-conference is a 60-minute debrief after the meeting to review what happened, evaluate the proposed plan, and decide on next steps.

Do you attend the actual IEP meeting?

These sessions are preparation and debrief, not in-meeting attendance. The work we do beforehand prepares you to advocate effectively on your own. Many parents tell me the preparation alone changed how the meeting went, and they didn't need anyone in the room with them.

How far in advance should I book?

Ideally 7 to 10 days before your IEP meeting. That gives time for me to review documents, for us to meet, and for you to prepare any additional materials based on what we discuss. Last-minute bookings are sometimes possible — just reach out and we'll figure it out.

Should I do the bundle even if I'm not sure I need both?

Most families benefit from both. The pre-conference focuses on going in prepared. The post-conference focuses on what to do with what you heard. The bundle saves $25 and gives you support on both ends of the meeting. If you only want one, that works too.

Are these sessions virtual?

Yes. All sessions are conducted by video call so you can attend from home, on your schedule, without childcare logistics getting in the way. Recordings can be made available on request.

Your meeting is coming up. Let's prepare.

A single hour of preparation can change the entire dynamic of an IEP meeting.
