All Services IEP Review & Advocacy

Your child's IEP, decoded — so you can advocate with confidence.

A line-by-line review of your child's IEP by a dually certified Special Education Teacher. You get a plain-language breakdown, specific recommendations, and the questions to bring to your next meeting.

Is this for you?

If any of this sounds like you, we should talk.

You read your child's IEP and felt like you were reading a foreign language. Acronyms, jargon, dense formatting — and you walked away unsure what was actually being promised.

Something about the IEP doesn't feel right, but you can't put your finger on what. You want a second opinion from someone who reads these documents for a living.

You have an annual review or eligibility meeting coming up, and you want to walk in prepared instead of reacting to whatever the team puts in front of you.

You just transferred schools or districts and want to make sure the new IEP carries over what was working — and fixes what wasn't.

What you get

A complete review, in plain language.

Section-by-section breakdown

Every section of your child's IEP, explained in plain language — present levels, goals, services, accommodations, and how progress will be measured.

Specific recommendations

Concrete suggestions for what to change, add, or push back on. Not vague advice — named goals, named services, named accommodations.

Questions for your next meeting

A prepared list of questions tailored to your child's IEP, so you walk in with an agenda — not just a hope that the right things get raised.

Rights & safeguards explained

A summary of the parental rights that apply to your situation, including Prior Written Notice, Independent Educational Evaluations, and dispute options.

Red flags & gaps named

If the IEP is missing something important, vague where it should be specific, or out of compliance with federal law, you will see it called out clearly.

Follow-up email included

After you receive the written review, a 15-minute follow-up call is included so you can ask anything that came up while you read it.

How it works

Four simple steps, 5–7 day turnaround.

01

Send your IEP

After booking, you upload the most recent IEP, the most recent evaluation, and a short note about what's on your mind. Everything stays confidential.

02

I read it carefully

I review every section with the same lens I use as a Special Education Teacher and a parent. I look for what's missing, what's strong, and what doesn't add up.

03

You receive the written review

Within 5 to 7 business days, you get a complete written report. Plain language. Specific recommendations. Questions for your next meeting.

04

15-minute follow-up call

Once you have read the review, we hop on a short call to walk through anything that came up. No upsell, no rushing — just answers.

Common questions

Things parents often ask.

How long does an IEP review take?

Most IEP reviews are completed within 5 to 7 business days from the time the document is received. Rush turnaround is available when meetings are scheduled within the week — just say so when you reach out.

What exactly do I receive?

A written report (typically 5–10 pages) that translates the IEP into plain language, identifies any concerns or gaps, suggests specific revisions to goals or services, names red flags, and gives you a list of questions to bring to your next meeting. Plus a 15-minute follow-up call after you read it.

Do you attend IEP meetings with parents?

Meeting attendance is offered as a separate service through Pre & Post-IEP Conference Support. The IEP review prepares you to attend on your own with confidence, and many parents find that level of preparation is enough.

Can you review a 504 plan or evaluation report?

Yes. The same review service applies to 504 plans, school evaluation reports, and Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs). The price and turnaround are the same.

What if my child does not have an IEP yet?

If you are at the evaluation stage or considering requesting an evaluation, the Quick IEP Question consult ($50) or a pre-conference consultation ($75) is a better starting point. Reach out and we will figure out together what fits where you are right now.

Is the review confidential?

Completely. Documents are never shared, the review is yours alone, and your child's information is never used in marketing or examples without explicit permission.

Ready to feel prepared for the next meeting?

Send the IEP, get the plain-language review and a follow-up call. That's it.
